The MCCQE Part I is a summative examination that assesses the critical medical knowledge and clinical decision-making ability of a candidate at a level expected of a medical student who is completing their medical degree in Canada to apply for medical residency there especially sponsored applicant (Gulf Countries) “Follow the updates regularly”.

Initial Requirements:

  1. A valid Passport (During the registration process, you must use the same spelling).

Documents needed to apply for the MCCQE: “Attached in the appendix”. To be sent to service@mcc.ca

  1. For graduated

A Source Verification Request for your final medical degree/diploma (and its
applicable fee)

• A package of documents that includes a copy of your passport.

A completed Certified Identity Confirmation form, a completed release form (which will
be available to print during the online application) and a copy of your final
medical degree/diploma — to be sent only after you have submitted your
Source Verification Request and its applicable fee)

  1. For student and Interns “Student Attestation Form“. (which will be available to print during the online application)
  2. A certified copy of a valid passport (i.e., a passport that has not expired)
  3. A completed Certified Identity Confirmation form (which will be available to print during the online application)

  1. Opening account.
  2. Doing the source verification request as instructed for graduates. After that go for examination to apply for the exam and follow the step then finally pay the exam fees.
  3. For Students-Intern Go immediately to Examination and read the condition and follow the step-
    Print the cover letter for the required document-then pay the exam fees.
    Submit the required documents as instructed and wait for PROMETRIC eligibility.

Questions
How many times can I take the exam?

If you pass, no retake.
• If you fail, maximum of four times.
• A one-year waiting period will be required between the third and fourth attempt.

Application process

Open an account at http://www.physiciansapply.ca/
• Submit all of the requested documentation.
• Allow up to three weeks for your application to be processed.
• After your application is accepted, you will have one year to take the MCCQE I at a Prometric test Centre.
This one-year period is called the eligibility window. Your eligibility window expires once you take (or withdraw from) the exam.

    From where can I sign the certified identity confirmation in Saudi Arabia?
    I tried the Canadian embassy and they informed me that they don’t provide that service any more.

      You can sign it from

      • Authorized representatives at the Dean or at the Registrar offices of the
      candidate’s faculty (school) of medicine
      • Notary public
      • Lawyers (member of an official bar association)
      • First-class magistrates, judges/justices of the peace
      • Officials at some embassies or consulate (if it is a service that they provide)
